Just when things start to get a little relaxed and predictable around here, Maddie throws a wrench in the blender (figuratively, not literally). Friday night was girl's night. A handful of ladies were coming over to drink wine and chat. What better combination is there than that?! 30 minutes from arrival time, Maddie says she has a boo-boo on her tummy and wants me to kiss it. 1 minute before arrival, Maddie starts looking really pale. We take her in the bathroom, and you can guess what happened next. Ding Dong! Hello, come on in. Don't mind the sick and crying baby in the bathroom. Perfect timing! Fortunatly she was only sick one more time that night, and was very happy to cuddle with daddy on the couch and let mommy drink it up in the other room. Now if that isn't good parenting, I don't know what is. Or as Fran says, if that's wrong, I don't wanna be right! Double thanks to the girls for being so understanding and not running from the house screaming. I so would've cancelled if they weren't already in the house.
