Madison hardly even cried at birth, just a couple of wimpers. This scared us at first, but the doctors and nurses assured us she was ok.

She has the chunkiest little cheeks!

And she already knows how to cuddle!

This is starting to get serious. Less than two weeks to go! Baby Moens is almost here. Mommy is getting big! Here is a pic of the 38 week tummy!

Mommy had her baby shower this weekend. Daddy showed up too. We got a ton of stuff
and are all set for Baby to arrive. Here are some pictures.

Had our 22 week ultrasound this week, everything is looking good. We got video this time!

Here is Mommy's 22 week tummy!

The glider and ottoman arrived this week! The nursery is pretty much complete.
We had to do some rearranging to make everything fit. Had a little trouble with the Brandee Danielle
lamp shade fitting the Target lamp, but nothing that a little electrical tape couldn't fix. Macgyver
would be proud. And the mobile didn't exactly fit the crib, that was until Mommy and Daddy put their
Bachelor degrees to work.

1/2 way there! 20 weeks down, 20 (or so) to go. For the past month we've been working on the nursery.
Everyone has been asking, why so soon? Well, before Mommy gets too big and tired, Daddy is putting her
to work while he still can!!

This is a before picture. Since we don't know if Baby will be a
boy or girl, the pink room has to go. There are also many nail holes to fill and the old aluminum blinds
need to be replaced.

Pink is gone...well almost. You can still kinda see it under that
fresh coat of primer.
|
 |
And...the after picture! A lot of work has went into this room:
- Wallpaper border...removed
- Nail/screw holes...filled, sanded
- Window trim scrubbed, and I mean scrubbed!
- Baseboards, window trim and closet trim painted
- Fresh coat of paint on door
- 2 coats of primer on walls
- 2 coats of yellow paint
- 4 new electrical outlets, 1 new light switch
- New 2" white wood blinds
- Recycled black curtain rod
- New curtains
- Crib and changing table assembled and ready to go
Still waiting for the glider and ottoman. And of course, Baby...

Here is a shot of Kimmie's 18 week tummy. Had our 18 week Dr.
appointment this week, everything is going good. No new ultrasound pictures, but hopefully next month.

Now we have something that is starting to resemble a baby!

Another image taken on January 5th. We refer to this as the
"chillin' pose". What you can't see in this image is Baby's legs stretched out up against Mommy's
tummy. Kinda resembles Daddy laying on the couch, watching TV.

So, here we are at nine weeks. This image was taken on December 7th.
Baby looks more like an alien, or a blob, at this point. Even so, this was the first
time we saw our baby.
